Role Overview
This position requires a versatile professional who can seamlessly manage technical, financial, and stakeholder aspects of building and construction projects. You’ll be responsible for coordinating with vendors, clients, and teams while ensuring compliance and efficiency. Your ability to stay composed under pressure and tackle challenges head-on will be key to success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage building and construction projects from planning to completion, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and suppliers to drive project success.
- Conduct site inspections, assess remediation requirements, troubleshoot issues, and implement practical solutions.
- Ensure all work complies with industry regulations, codes, and safety standards.
- Handle multiple projects, prioritising tasks and adapting to shifting demands.
- Prepare project documentation, including reports, schedules, and cost estimates.
Qualifications & Key Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., PMP, Chartered Engineer, or equivalent) are highly regarded.
- Demonstrated experience in managing building and construction projects, including vendor and stakeholder coordination.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to perform under pressure.
- Solid understanding of remediation techniques, construction processes, industry regulations, and project management principles.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
- Ability to take initiative, multitask, and deliver results.
- A valid driver’s license and ability to travel as required.
